 Month of Love
Traditionally, February has been referred to as bland, blah and blasé; wedged between the excitement of a new year and the anticipation of spring. Add to that the very cold conditions of the seasonal weather and you get the picture, depression can soon set in.
Well, not here at HoneyFig. The sun is shining, a blanket of snow helps to prepare the variety of flowers beneath for there arrival within a few months and the cold usher us to be eager for warm days and balmy nights.
February is more than the weather and it is more than Valentine’s Day, it is about celebrating you… in Black History Month. Quite simply, February allows us to reflect on life, not in despair, but, with a hopeful outlook of things to come. It also reminds us of the gifts which have been handed down, not only to people of color, but, to all people. The gifts of strength, perseverance, endurance, hope and courage; which by Maya Angelou’s view is the most important of all of the virtues, - “for without courage you cannot practice any other virtue with consistency”.
Remember this and reward yourself with that, which you deserve most…Love.
Blended Beauty – Re-visited
The team at Blended Beauty is mixing up a storm this month and HoneyFig is in on the action. As a result we have decided to re-launch the line with the addition of ten new Blended Beauty products to the HoneyFig roster.

Help to Break the Sickle Cell Cycle
Some people may associate February as the month to campaign for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or for the Variety Club, or the Diabetes Association. Although, all very worthy causes, HoneyFig has chosen to focus our efforts this month to highlighting the efforts of the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.
In the last few years SCDAA has made significant strides in the area of research and treatment of this DNA specific disease. Join us in supporting SCDAA, with each dollar spent in February at HoneyFig; we will in turn donate 10% to this very worthy cause.
