GuluWalk Gives
In the war torn country of Uganda, children are left abandoned, homeless and ravaged. This plight struck the hearts of two everyday, extraordinary heroes – Adrian Bradbury and Kieran Hayward. The two founded the not-for-profit organization – GuluWalk; and since its inception in July 2005, GuluWalk has grown into a worldwide movement for peace.
The GuluWalk organization is committed to being accountable for all monies raised and for making sure that the funds reaches the actual communities and more specifically, to the children of those communities. Their financial mandate is to have 75% of all donations going to children’s programs, 15% going to continuing awareness and education, and the remaining 10% to administrative cost.
Their no nonsense approach, has already helped the lives of thousands, through programs such as “Promoting Girls Education for Better Health”. This program focuses on the health and nutrition training of young girls, in order to help empower them in the awareness of HIV/AIDS prevention & education, reproductive health and more over, helping to deal with the psychological impact of their place and worth, within their communities. A key goal is to provide opportunities for girls, as well as to enable them to assist in their understaffed health care system.
Another one of their partnership is in support of the “Girls Education Initiative Project”. This program addresses the needs of girls aged 13-26, whom have taken on the role of ‘heads of households – child mothers’; as a result of lost of parents and/or abandonment. In this area, the needs are continuously increasing.

We are bursting at the seams with excitement!
Yes, we are grabbing the bull by the horns and “changes, are a coming”. Changes are being made to the website, as well as, adjustments are being made to shipment procedures and administrative duties.
